Thinking of getting one for my son. Does anyone know the local law concerning a 12 year old riding a Go-Ped? Are they considering a motorized skateboard?

Thanks!

I am 21 now, but when I was 13, I was given a go-ped for Christmas. They are a blast, but I do recommend your son at least wear a helmet, I have fallen a few times taking turns and hitting loose gravel.

As for the laws, I found a website concerning the laws, but goodyear is not listed. Just call your local police department to get the best answer.

Dependant on the neighborhood and which law enforcement officer is patroling it, we got our son one a few years ago. if he is under 18 and carries a notorized letter signed by his parents is should be able to use the go-ped abiding all the traffic laws. i would also check with the local police dept to ensure the latest info
