Best Hot Wings in the valley??
Can anyone recommend a good place to go for wings? atmosphere would be equally as important as the food itself.

Call me crazy but I've always loved the wings at Chilis. Barro's Pizza too, though the atmosphere is lacking (not that Chilis is great, but better then Barro's)

My wife likes Native New Yorker. I don't get it, but she likes them there more than Wing Stop.

Buffalo Wings & Rings in Avondale has the 2nd-4th best wing I have ever tasted, anywhere. I went there on a Sunday afternoon and the place was packed with a poker tournament.
I'm not a chicken lover. I don't ever remember eating chicken (that's not a wing) as a kid without throwing up. I grew up on a farm and we used to butcher hundreds of them for us and family every year. We had chicken a couple times a week. Just the thought of it makes me lose my appetitea bit.
That being said........I love a good chicken wing and a beer. The place is a bit out of the way for me but well worth the drive. Chandler also has one.

The Dirty Drummer, believe it is on or around Shea just off 32nd. St. It's a bar, but the wings are very good.

Long Wongs has the best wings in town, but they seem to also pride themselves in having the most dingy locations. And that's fine. Just don't plan to hang out there for the night, or best yet - get them to go, eat at home, then go out for other pleasures.
Other places serve wings, along with many other things. Long Wongs doesn nothing much else than make them.

I like Buffalo Wild Wings and Native New Yorker. The Long Wongs in Tempe was good but that is long gone...

I second this. And unless you are VERY brave, do NOT get the suicide wings. I love spicy food and can tolerate a LOT of heat, but they made me cry. Long Wongs is local and very cool. Oh, and I base this on the Long Wongs that was in Tempe many years ago. I hope their recipe hasn't changed.

I agree 100% - large, fresh wings and homemade blue cheese to go with them - a variety of sauces and heat level (the garlic parmesan are absolutely killer)
the whole menu at this place is solid and it's a fun atmosphere
being an upstate NY native i'm very particular about all my styles of wings (both buffalo wings and hot wings) ....... long wongs and native are both good local options ....... there are also some smaller places throughout the metro that have good wings (like our local brothers pizza express)
avoid places like wingstreet and bw3 like the plague
