10. Higher incomes in LV. No...
9. Fewer Illegals. No way. Hotel industry and illegals go hand in hand...
8. More adult oriented entertainment. True
7. More international flair. A fake international flair but true I guess
6. Not so hot in the Summer. Does it make a difference that Vegas is 114 and Phoenix is 117? It is hot in Vegas...
5. Less traffic. The strip is the worse...
4. The schools couldn't possibly be worse. Well, looks like you picked the one state that may be worse
3. No State Income Tax. True...
2. No Photo Radar. Over under on when it is coming to Vegas? Anyways, it triggers at 11 MPH (changed from 10) over the speed limit..really, do you have to go any faster then 76 MPH?
1. The Governor doesn't look like Fred Flintstone. She is gone very soon...

The median household income for the zipcode I am moving to is quite a bit higher than that of 85016, which is a pretty solid neighborhood. Much, much higher than 85021, 85017, 85031, 85006, 85014, or 85012.Moderator cut: link removed, linking to competitors sites is not allowed. Only 9% Hispanic, too. (I would give the edge to Phoenix on better tacos, though).

Smile Most people like other places better than Phoenix.

Phoenix " the valley of the sun" has lost most of it's luster in just a few years. It used to be a destination but WOW!! has it lost that.

I guess it is a smash or trash type of place. It's a boom or bust town.

So you just didn't want to live by Hispanics?

10. Higher incomes in LV. this statment has no meaning
9. Fewer Illegals. you might want to double check the casinos
8. More adult oriented entertainment. are you referencing LV's legalized prostitution?
7. More international flair. foreign tourists getting drunk and gambling
6. Not so hot in the Summer. 105 vs 110
5. Less traffic. get in a car and leave the strip - see what happens
4. The schools couldn't possibly be worse. yes they can
3. No State Income Tax. business and property taxes are quite high
2. No Photo Radar. granted
1. The Governor doesn't look like Fred Flintstone. actually Fred Flinstone with a mustache and granted

Your original statement(s), income, hispanics indicated a "city" (Phoenix v Las Vegas) - not a particular zip code. Sure, if you want to compare a particular zip code(s), then you can find higher (lower) incomes. Or, different ethnic makeups.

But, that is not what you indidcated.

I'm not sure that's what he meant since prostitution is illegal in Clark County, and that's where Las Vegas is of course.

He probably meant that there was more of a night life in general for adults in Vegas. And if that's important to someone they are probably right, it's not important to everyone though.

There is no legalized prostitution in Las Vegas or Clark County
