I have been doing some research and reading the postings. Sounds like Gilbert schools are better and is a safer place to live. We are from SW MI and want to get out of the cold. My concern is safety, good schools, recreation. Is Gilbert a good choice choice?

I know you want to get out of the cold, but are you ready for some HEAT? Have you been out here before in the summer (jul-aug-sept)?
Though I've never even seen Gilbert in all my years living here, it sounds like a nice, safe place to live (from what I hear on here). School wise, I don't know. You can look them up online and see how they rank. I know there are other excellant school districts, such as Deer Valley, PV, and I believe some of Peoria. There are lots of "safe" areas all around the valley. North Glendale is very nice, too. As is North Peoria, many parts of North Phx, and near Scottsdale and in Scottsdale. Come out and take a week driving around. |
