Question moving to Tolleson & looking for place to live

I am going to be working in Tolleson and looking for ideas on a good place to live. Am 27 year old female who wants to find a community which is lively and similar people to meet. Additionally if someone has some good ideas on apartments I would appreciate it. I enjoy sports and other outdoor activities.

the West Valley is the place to be for sports & outdoor activities. If possible, I'd leave Tolleson to just the working.

Aside from sports & outdoor activities what do you like to do? Are you into bars? If so are they more club places, chains, dives, etc? What kind of restaurants do you enjoy? Shopping? Commute preference? Rental pricing? Busy or quiet neighborhood? What sports?

Tolleson's such a dump - at least from what I saw of it.

But maybe I'm missing something. Are there any new neighborhoods there, or just old junk houses?

North side of Avondale and most of Goodyear, and Litchfield Park look more attractive for living if you're looking for places in the s.w. valley.
