Talking Looking for a place to have my birthday party!!!

Hi Everyone!

I'll turn 25 in may and wanted to have a party but can't find a place to rent. It's for about 30 people, mainly adults. I tried to found people renting a basement or a hall at a cheap price but no results. So if anybody have rent a place or know a place where I can have my birthday, that will be great. Just to give you an idea I want a place where I can dance even if I have to bring my own music and I don't mind looking after the food and drinks. It's even better and cheaper so it really about the place itself.

Thank you so much for your help!

are you the same person that posted on craigslist?

to be honest, i don't think any homeowner in their right mind would rent their home to 25 year olds for a party.

why not have it at your place? or dinner at a restuarant? what about clubs around here. can they rent rooms out? the only other thing i can think of is perhaps renting a suite in a hotel or ask for rates in their reception halls.

good luck!

Catholic Corner?

Where I lived, before here, we would rent out the local Knights of Columbus every year or two. It was cheap and they provided a bartender with drink specials and a baked potato bar.

Try VFW Posts, American Legion Posts, Fraternal Order of Police, Elks Lodges....they all have halls that they rent out to the public.

I would host it at the roof top bar of the Clarendon Hotel. I've been to several mixers there, its First Class and would recommend it to anyone.
