If Scott Boras has any say, probably never

Its not Wrigley, but games at HoHoKam are arguably the best atmosphere of all the Cactus League parks. Probably has something to do with all the ex-Chicagoans.

if you're not a cubs fan, don't waste time with HoHoKam

a very underated facility is maryvale - brewers fans actually tailgate the spring training, you get the same meats and stadium sauce as you would in milwaukee, singing roll out the barrel, the sausage race, etc

not a bad scene, one of the least expensive tickets and always good seats available

surprise is by far my favorite though - will be interested in checking out goodyear & glendale

not a huge fan of peoria

tempe is pretty good (although it can be difficult getting in to park)

The Dodgers just added an opt-out clause on a new two year deal. Manny should jump on this.

FOX Sports on MSN - MLB - Source: Dodgers' $45M Manny offer has opt-out

I usually stop after only one drink , but thanks for the heads up.

I would have thought this park would be in a dangerous neighborhood with the Maryvale factor?

A salary cap on Scott Boras would greatly benefit MLB!

maryvale isn't the nicest neighborhood but it's not like some neighborhood with gang infested projects and gunshots everywhere,

to go into the game at 1 pm you're perfectly fine - the stadium complex feels pretty isolated

this is where I take my grandma to watch games - she's in her 80s and likes going to watch baseball (in fact she scolded my wife for wanting to leave early ) - even though she's in great shape I don't feel comfortable having her dodge line drives, so I like getting the seats behind the net

at maryvale they've been like $20 and we usually end up around 6 rows up, next to the scouts

i wouldn't go if it wasn't safe

Banning Scott Boras from baseball would also greatly benefit the MLB (ditto Drew Rosenhaus in the NFL)

That said, banishment from baseball is a sore point for me, being a lifelong Reds fan...

Count me among the Pete Rose supporters. At least the Reds are moving their spring training to Goodyear in 2010. They should have a better 2009 season until then.

Cooperstown near Chase Field is the best.
