Default He's Awsome

Sheriff Joe is the greatest law enforcement officer in the United States.
If it were'nt for him we would be totally over run by illegal aliens.
I understand the plight of the mexican workers and their families, but we the US cannot afford to let this continual migration of humans flood into this country un-checked. Its already cost us Billions and it will continue to cost us BILLIONS. Joe is the man for the job. Thank you Sheriff Joe.

If I had to choose between taking him or leaving him, I'd TAKE him. He's much, much better for AZ than Nappy ever was. BTW, her true colors are showing now that she's head of Homeland (INS)ecurity....

And remember - this Cop doesn't care the color of your skin - if you need help - he helps. Even to help change your car tire; I have personally - as in, with my own eyes - seen the Sheriff stopped behind a car - his lights flashing - changing out a flat tire for a woman who, at least from appearances, appeared Hispanic.

That's our Sheriff!

I don't mind Joe's image. If he backed up his talk, I would love him. Like many people, I was a staunch advocate of Joe Arpaio. There are a lot of people who have fallen out of favor with Joe and it has nothing to do with his image and controversy. It has to do with the fact that we are unconvinced he actually does anything. He is just a charlatan and a media clown. He plays up to the media. He stages some publicized raids and then does nothing when the cameras aren't on him. He purposefully says controversial things to get more attention from the media. He loves the media and the attention but in terms of action, he does nothing. What has he done to make us safer. The murder and violent crime rate has risen under his watch.

I'm a liberal person but I wouldn't mind voting for a hard-core conservative that actually backed up his talk and was about action. However, the evidence just indicates that Joe is about Joe. His latest television show is just proof of that. What proof is there to show that Joe has reduce immigration in this county and has made us safer. I think Joe was good before he got famous but in the last 6 or 7 years, he has been coasting on his reputation and wasting time. I can put up with all of his showmanship if he actually did something but I don't feel like his office has done anything.

Sheriff Joe is a power-hungry tyrant, but honestly, I don't think that's a very bad character for a sheriff. He needs to be tough, and he is. The only problems I have with Sheriff Joe are due to his immigration policies, and I don't really blame him for his faults in that case because our federal government has screwed up that situation so badly. That's a really tough issue to handle, and even though I don't agree with what he's doing, I realize that he has to do something, and he has taken action according to his conviction. I respect that, even if I disagree with it.

Arpaio may be a bit of a showboat at times, but he's still the best person for the job that any other city (county, or state) purports to have! Count your blessings, Arizona!
