From my understanding short sales can take a long time. That is why we stayed away from them and primarily looked at foreclosures. However, at the time we could not find any foreclosures in Marley Park that fit our family.

I am glad we found the spec home...we were able to get a great price and we were able to get the builder to tile the whole downstairs since the flooring was not done yet.
Welcome to Surprise!! Your going to love it.

Just to update you all on my house hunting...we did put an offer in on a forclosure so we will see. Joe, I will look into the spec homes. I really like the builder you chose! Hopefully we'll be neighbors soon :>.

...And the saga continues...

We didn't get the gorgeous forclosure that we bid on . We are the back up offer in case the buyers can't perform. I'm trying to stay positive because I really want to live in MP. No worries, we are bidding on some others as we speak, so I will let you all know how it turns out.

Anyone know if there are houses to rent in the Marley Park area? I work for a baseball team and with my family coming down for spring training from mid-February through the end of March, I'd love to get a family-friendly rental in this area?

Please advise. Thanks!

You are not likely to find a rental house for that short a term, except under very unusual circumstances.

I right next to a Surprise police officer inside of Marley Park. They are a great family and more than a few tickets were issued to slow people down.
