Hi -
If I had a brain I would have called six weeks ago and ordered one of those little Phoenix "Key" booklets for March events...
Anyway...heading to PHX (okay, North Scottsdale) for a little sun and baseball... a few years back we just happened upon the Cavalia horse show near our hotel and went. Another time we passed a sign for a musical and went to see that. But I'd prefer not to depend on such serendipity again
... could someone share a few thoughts on activities that will be going on March 15 - 22? Anything special at the Desert Botanical Garden, or Zoo... Any big "event" going on? I forget the good website I used to visit for activities, so please remind me?
We've sort of done it most -- but not all -- e.g. we've never really spent much time in downtown PHX. We also have done day trips to Tucson, Bisbee, Flagstaff, Sedona...been out to Yuma and up to Four Corners. I'm not so much a big shopper in terms of the outlets...but we do like interesting excursions to little towns.
Thanks for any suggestions...there's always the tried and true (revisiting much of the above) but I'd like to do at least one thing new this visit!
