I read that this morning. Over the years, I've really enjoyed watching GMAZ when we're in AZ but it has changed alot. I'll miss Dan; Brad not so much. Olivia is good but I can only take her for a short period of time and then she becomes annoying and fake. I wish it was as laid back as it was several years ago. It's entertainment in a crazy world.

The only five minutes of Good Morning AZ I've ever watched consisted of Brad Perry walking into someone's house and jumping on a bed to wake up some kids.
Apparently he's kind of difficult to work with, not surprised he was fired, especially in this economy.

They need to let go of Tara, Brad, Dan, and Scott. Tired of them all. They should leave Olivia, Javier, and April.

This show really does need a, well, extreme makeover. I haven't watched it as regularly as I once did in a long time.

KTVK's best days IMHO were ca. 1991 with Heidi Foglesong, Cameron Harper, Cater Lee and Jim Howl----------the old 'Arizona's News People' team.

Agreed.
Even GMAZ was best in its early days, with Jodi Applegate. That show started right after Ch 3 lost the ABC affiliation, and it started trouncing all the network morning shows in pretty short order.
It surprised a lot of the experts how successful CH 3 became as an independent.

I agree with ArizonaBear and observer53. They reached their prime years ago and went downhill fast from there.
Brad Perry is so full of himself, a buffoon. His rating and standing with CH-3 and the viewers was the lowest of all the staff. They really have no personalities that stand out.

As you stated.
Using baseball as a metaphor: KTVK was a 'farm team' to many World Series champions---------read that quite a few reporters/anchors got their start at the former.
