There's no real wealth in Scottsdale, just a bunch of phonies living on maxed-out credit cards pretending to be rich. Everyone is rude thanks to day after day of being chased by bill collectors. I'd be rude too if I were in that situation.
That's quite a brash generalization. You need a pretty good income to buy one of the million dollar homes around here. There's plenty of wealth in Scottsdale; I should know since I live here .

You really aren't contributing anything to this thread so why not leave?

I did leave, I moved to Newport Beach, CA a month ago (hence my screen name), unlike you who cannot afford to leave. I made the right choice, people here are *MUCH* friendlier than in Scottsdale and are a lot more outgoing unlike the Scottsdale anti-social weirdos. Sorry, there's no wealth in Scottsdale, just debt and phonies. If any of those people had the money they claim to have, they'd be living here, not there in the desert.

Well first of all if I wanted to leave, I would. There's nothing really holding me back but I enjoy living down here. Many of the people I know share the same setiment.

And you say there is no real wealth in Scottsdale but how do you explain someone who purchases a $3-$4 million dollar home? Are you saying that they're dirt poor, yep that's logical thinking . Many of the people that live in Scottsdale are some of the wealthiest professionals in the Valley. Yes there are a few of the $30,000/ year millionaires but Newport Beach also has its' share of those.

Scottsdale is my utopia. I love the restaurants, the shopping, the golf courses, the beautiful mountains, etc; I could go on and on about why I love it here. The fact that you don't is not my concern but don't say that everyone who lives here hates it because obviously that is not true.
