My question would be - why don't these threads ever get closed? Actually, the issues still seem to be the same as they were 3 years ago. For example, dumping the proposed 202 into 55th Avenue and the I-10???!!! While this would take some of the strain off inner city traffic; if just bottlenecks the traffic on the I-10. The reasonable route, in my mind has always been to connect it up to the Loop 101 at 99th Avenue. Eventually extending it to Buckeye for I-8 and I-10 traffic. Where exactly do they expect the traffic to go once the get to 55th Avenue and the I-10???

There's no automatic closure by the software of any thread based just on the passage of time.. They come up on Google searches, and new posters who don't usually even notice the dates bring them back up again. And, as you say, this is still an ongoing issue.

It is three years later and nothing is happening. It looks like construction is supposed to start on the freeway before 2015, but who knows if that's true. This plan doesn't look like it has been updated to recently to reflect the changes made to the planned 801 and 802 (now 24) freeways.

It also looks like the freeway is schedule to be 8 lanes total (4 on each side) with six regular lanes and 2HOV lanes. It seems like that would classify it as a freeway instead of a parkway. I guess ADOT is holding off to build the road until they have the money to build it to adequate capacity.
