But considering you went to school in Ann Arbor, it doesn't surprise me a bit. Aren't there any jobs in the wonderful state of Michigan anymore or do they all have to move to Arizona to find a job?

FYI - I am an graduate of this apparently unreputable university and can afford a $400,000 house with only a bachelor's degree!
Whoa! Calm down there. I think most everyone would agree that ASU has a lot of superficial people who attend. I never made any personal attacks like you are doing in your recent post...just generalizations. If I didn't like the area or the people, I would stay here.

Stop overreacting and go have another beer Sorry if I got you all riled up.

bms: no worries! I think we each just had a little misunderstanding. In fairness, I think Ann Arbor is pretty arrogant and elitist. I always tried to shy away from that image considering I grew up in a "Leave it to Beaver" type household out in a cornfield. I guess after spending 6 years here, a little bit rubbing off on me is inevitable.

Good luck on your triathalon! Where will it be held? I have a tough time imagining something like that taking place in the summer in Arizona. Unless of course it is really early in the morning. I love to rollerblade and there are a few trails near AA. I seem to think there are more out in Phoenix area, though. Do you know of any? How about the trail that runs along the Salt River...is it any good for blading?

Thank you for the restaurant suggestion. Yeah, I know that area has a lot of students and that is fine. My goal is to just rent for 6-8 months and then buy a home after I get used to some neighborhoods. The weekend beer pong reference had nothing to do with where I'm going to live temporarily or even ASU as a school. It was in reference to a) the neighborhood I'd like to live in when I buy a home and b) the fact that I'm tired of living in student neighborhoods. I've spent enough time in them and while they were and are fine for their purpose, I don't know if I could settle down in one or even risk it.

Feel free to keep passing along suggestions, I really appreciate it--especially restaurants!

Hope things are straight between us. Even if it only is a forum, I see no need for any "bad blood" between the people creating posts and I apologize if my orignal tone created that atmosphere.
