When I first moved to GIlbert 1991 I used qwest for my landline no issues i Changed to MCI still no issues when i got COX high speed internet changed the phone service also still no problems. Started having problems with COX high defintion cable service every 2 weeks they were replacing the box. after the 8th box in 2 months I decided to switch all services to QWEST, TV no problem internet no problem but from the start no landline. THe qwest rep that did the install said qwest had no problems. I have had qwest out 2 times since and they still claim there is no problem with their wiring however all incoming calls have so much noise i have told people to use my cellphone. Does anyone have any idea what might be wrong or who to call to correct the land line?

I agree. I went the other way but had all COX services changed to Qwest. NO problems with the TV no problems with the internet. The landline however is a different story. When the qwest person completed the install the land line was not working. He was informed checked the outside line and stated there was not a problem with Qwest's line and to check all the inside phones one at a time. We disconnected one phone whre my internet connection was and the phone was ok. 2 days later the landline stopped functioning. We have had QWest Technicians out twice now and all they say is there is not a problem with Qwest wiring, ALL i know is that there was no problem with COX until the switch to Qwest. As Qwest is apparently incompetent at correcting the wiring issue for the landline does anyone know who might be contacted to correct the issue as Qwest is stating they will charge $85 plus any costs related to correcting the wiring, So if I am going to pay someone I would rather pay someone to resolve the issue on a permanent basis.

I went with Cox for everything. I think it is just easier to stick with one company for everything.

I too have Cox for everything. I have been happy. Although when they upgraded the digital cable and replaced my box, I get these weird stutters in my DVR recordings. My kids think it's funny, but sometimes it's really bad! I haven't complained yet(which is not the norm for me) but I have been busy. Right now Im on hold with my cell phone carrier....been on hold for 45 minutes already! Let's start comparing cell phone services too....I have Tmobile. I have been happy but Im trying to change my plan right now and I don't feel like waiting another day....so here, on hold I sit!
