I'm considering joining one of the East Valley Squadrons 304, 305, or 314 as a Senior Member. I don't have kids so I'm not interested in being all that involved with the cadet program.
Anyone familiar with CAP? What are the cultures like in the different East Valley Squadrons? How active are they in the area, do they regularly deploy on missions? How strong is the AZ Wing's relationship with USAF, DEA, Border Patrol, Emergency Services etc. I don't want to be just a grown up Boy Scout. I want to join a squadron where I can make a difference and be active on missions. Any insight would be appreciated.
