Is Dooby's still open? The phone number above, which I had been using to call ahead of time to order pick-up, no longer works.

In case anyone still cares:

Dooby's is closed.

The falafel at the Herb Box is pretty dang good even if not Israeli style. The next best to me is Pita Jungle. The stuff at the Kosher market at Scottsdale and Shea doesn't even taste like falafel.

Hmm...I thought falafal was a generic dish. I've had it at Egyptian, Lebenese, Turkish places and it's all tasted the same to me. I went to Cafe Istanbul and had a kebab. My friend had the falafal and liked it.

Cafe Istanbul.... makes me think of their chicken breasts and jasmine rice. Delicious. Time to go back. Falafel, I've never tried.
