Default Israeli style falafel?

Is there anywhere in Phoenix to get Israeli-style falafel?

If I understand what an "Israeli Style" falafel is, I have to say Sabuddy in Scottsdale (I visited them when they were in Tempe, but last I heard the food was as good as ever, and at great prices.)

Sabuddy Israeli Restaurant
6949 East Shea Boulevard #10
Scottsdale, AZ 85254

Hey, I have never tried falafel, but you might visit the places that serve Middle Eastern food.

Some recomendations---------
Haji-Baba Middle Eastern Restaurant
1513 E. Apache Blvd., Tempe

Yusef's
15236 N. Cave Creek Rd, Phx.

Baba-Ganush
2019 W. Bethany, Phx.

I'm sure there are others but these are just a few off the top of my head that might have what you want.

Sabuddy would have been my recommendation before its unfortunate closure. I really miss that place. Many of the places listed above have good falafel, but most are under Lebanese or otherwise Arab ownership, so there may be differences in the style of falafel. With Sabuddy gone, Dooby's is the only Israeli restaurant I know of in the Phoenix Metro Area. Unfortunately, I have not gotten around to trying it yet.

I don't any specific Israeli fallafel but having spent enough time in Dearborn Michigan eating a lot of great Middle Eastern food, these are SOME of the besst fallafel places in the city. There are more and I'm excited to try some of the places already mentioned

(1) Pita House: don't be fooled by the generic name: owners are Lebanese and the fallafel is great. Yes, it's not Israeli but it's darn good

(2) Greek Wraps: in Glendale 75th and Bell: good fallafel. Mexican made by don't let that fool you. These are great fallafel

(3) Middle Eastern Bakery Deli - yes that's its actual name

(4) Phoenicia - great fallafel

Places I would not recommend for fallafel

(1) Pita Jungle - generic Americanized fallafel, fallafel is hard and has no taste

(2) Daphne's cafe - similar to Pita jungle, very generic, no flavor

Nobody stole anything. It's native to the region and there are regional differences in the way its prepared depending on your country. Don't bring politics into fallafel. Fallafel brings all types of people together. It's good stuff
