I live just a few blocks away from there. It's a great area to live. We've been having a few speed racers in the middle of the night, but overall it's a safe place.

To drive to south scottsdale, I don't know for sure, but when I work in central Phx it takes me about 30 mins, but I leave closer to 9am, which is missing a ton of traffic. Coming home, depending on the time, it usually takes me 35-45 mins. So, to S. Scottsdale, I'm assuming it'd be many more minutes. LOL

Are you looking at homes north or south of Happy Valley? I prefer the newer community just north, but that's me. If you have kids that's a great location with the BIG waterpark (that they are hugely expanding as we speak) right down the street.

If you have any other questions, just ask away. There a few of us on here that live down the street from your location.

That's a nice area, but a LONG commute. For some of it (the southbound 101 part in the AM and the northbound part in the PM) you will be going against the main traffic for a chunk of it, but it's still a long drive.
