My only trouble with going to Wa is that I cant seem to go to sleep with out the sound of the osculating fan noise, let alone the feeling of waves of cool air hitting my skin at night. I bet there are a lot of us who need the extra noise of our cooling devices just to fall asleep.
Being a pale skinned, white haired child, i would run around naked in the Tucson sun and i paid for it. Freckles are all over my arms and face like a cheetah. I would get sunburned a lot as a teenager in California as well, but that was my own fault.

Skin cancer are for those that constantly get sunburned year after year. If the person is smart about it they can avoid skin cancer.

I only need a cold floor to sleep on, my wife on the other hand.... 4 fans..

The heat is nothing, not nearly as bad as 100 with 100% humidity like in MI.

I thought this paradise we live in got 7 months a year of dreamy weather and 5 months of hell.
I agree, we seem to be having end of May, beginning of June like temperature the last week or so (I don't care if the reptiles aka extreme heat-lovers disagree/dispute). After 2 Summers, I realize Phoenix is not for me, it is really nice from mid Oct till end of April but by the middle of July, the contact heat (day and night) had me losing my mind.

I have even gotten (somewhat) used to the horrible drivers but the heat...

Anyhow, good luck to you if you too dislike this much heat!

That doesnt happen. That sounds as ridiculous and stupid as me saying something like "it gets to be 140 degrees in Phoenix for 3 straight months".

Yes it gets humid in MI from time to time, but to be honest, MI's summers are damned near impossible to beat, especially the UP.

The worst it gets in MI is around 90 with 60% humidity or so. Then after a day or two its gone and its back to the low 80s with drier air. The BEST summer weather, IMO, is northern MI.... deep blue skies, low humidities, warm days, cool nights, stars, stars, stars, stars, and more stars.

I see the Valley has been up to 106 degrees already, thats quite a bit above average! Hopefully it cools down a bit for you guys.
