Queen Creek or Surprise?

I live out close to Queen Creek and I hear good things about it lately! It's starting to build more and I love where I am out in South Chandler. Not to far from there, really pretty views of the mountains and sort of farm like. I think it would be a great place for a large family such as yours. I only have 3 kids but they love it out here, way better than in town. lol

I'll be visiting next month so, I will visit both cities as well. Surprise sounds a little better than Queen Creek from what I've researched. I was not able to find Crime statistics and population info on the southern Queen Creek area in pinal county. There doesn't seem to be much info on the area besides the neighborhoods. No other general info. Thank you for your response and suggestions.

I've lived in Surprise since 1998 - this area is great if you like a mix of farmland nearby, mountains within short minutes, lake to the North (Lake Pleasant), lots of amentities, and a still-growing environment. The farms to the South/Southwest will remain for years to come due Luke Air Force Base requiring a "buffer".

I don't want to open a can of worms but I've heard from a coworker who lives there that the Mormons in Queen Creek are rather pushy and are trying to run the town. I should add that she tends to be on the grouchy side and is a bit of a drama queen so that may be an exaggeration.
