Default Sun City area: Good Medicare nearby?

Are there good Medicare facilities close to Sun City or Surprise?

We are thinking about moving to that general area, from Central California. We are early 70s, retired. We hear it's hard to find good Medicare facilities in some areas, with some doctors refusing Medicare patients. We currently have a good HMO setup here with Kaiser and worry about leaving it.

Is there a better Phoenix area for Medicare services than the Sun City area?

Many thanks.

Tommy 44.

Exactly.

Sun City has hundreds of doctors of various specialties and one of the best hospitals in the state. Most take medicare patients.
