Red face Chandler apartment search

I am relocating from Minnesota to Chandler, AZ and am searching online for an apartment. I need a 2 bedroom under $850/month in a safe area as I have an 8 year old daughter. I am on Section 8 housing and have only found a few apartment complexes that accept vouchers. Does anyone know anything about The Fairways located at 777 W. Chandler Blvd? They are in zip code 85225 - which (according to a few posts I have read on this site) is not the best area... Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated as I am planning a trip to Chandler very soon and would like to look at places while I am there. Thank you!

I used to live in that area and currently work in downtown Chandler which is close to The Fairways. You'll be perfectly fine living there. Have you looked into Boston Square apartments? I lived there for a year and never had any problems. The walls are a bit thin but not thin enough to keep you up all night. The property is kinda old but all the appliances worked fine and the property grounds were kept very clean by maintenance.

Mark Taylor properties usually are well maintained and a lot of them accept sect. 8. Look on there web site and see which ones accept it.

Thank you for the info! Actually I have called Boston Square and was informed that they do not take Section 8. Is the Fairways an older complex as well? They look very nice and well maintained on the website..

I will call the properties on the Mark Taylor site.. thank you!

Not Section 8 but still falls under your budget of $850.
