It's been raining steadily for the last hour or so, though very light, only 0.08" so far, but man is it nice. It's a beatuful 71 degrees out right now, which is about 30 degrees cooler then about a week ago at this time.

I love this type of rain in Phoenix, where it gets really cool!!! I don't like the humid rain of August, but this is nice. Not as cool as the rain last May/June...but close enough. It's exactly 70 degrees here in my part of Downtown!

Weren't we just talking about this fcor? I remember this last year, and I do love it. I'm sure it's only because we are so use to so much sun. lol Other people think we are crazy! But, it's a nice break to have right before summer.
Does anyone else feel like they live somewhere else when it's like this? lol I always feel like I'm not in Phoenix.

Looks like it rained lightly but steadily all night... very unusual for this time of year, and a great break from the abnormally high temps!

Yes, this is a strange time of year for a good rainfall there.

It's good to see you back praising the cooldown after being so grumpy about the heat a week or so ago.
