I am a Canadian, non-resident alien in Arizona, need to have my 2008 tax return done. I started working in AZ since dec 1st, 2008. so, it is only one month.
is there an accountant or sb who can do that?
your fee?

I can't believe it's worth going to an accountant for that. I do my own taxes, unless you have something really complicated going on, I would suggest doing it yourself.

It isn't rocket science. I moved here in September 2007 and managed to do it myself. And even if you screw it up, the state of Arizona will send you a nice letter pointing out your screw up and correcting your return. Unless you are like Bill Gates and made mucho mucho bucks in that one month, it wouldnt be worth an accountant. You just need to file the correct form for the part year. The website has the forms.

PS A little late filing taxes?

Anything but an accountant here, a2000b, and I've been using TurboTax for years.

Haven't been sent to the slammer yet.

If an extension was requested, and the taxes were paid at that time or a refund was anticipated, no penalty for filing now.
