fromcotoaz is on a distinguished road
Maybe we should really look around the areas where the P&R and Express buses are. My husband would love to ride his bike to the parking lot and then take the bus. He is always complaining about not enough time to exercise or read!

There is someone in his building he just found who drives the Peoria/Downtown route at 6:00 am and 3:00 pm. She said she can get from her house (in Arrowhead) to the building in 30 minutes. That is positive news as well! Maybe we won't be destined to an awful hour-long commute after all.

From my experience, the photo in this thread of 17 really only relates to rush hour times. And, even then it wasn't always that bad. IMO, the worst parts of that commute will be at the interchanges of 101/17 and 17/10. Every time I drove on 17 it was always better than traveling on 10. IMO, the busiest road in Phoenix is the 10. The 101 is normally good with some congestion during rush hour when it connects with 10 and at the 17.
