Payson, AZ
What's typical for renting a two bedroom place in Payson, AZ? What kind of figures am I looking at here?

Do you mean to live there or just for a vacation?

Well considering it is high vacation season in that area, rentals are for mostly vacationers and according to my cursory search they are anywhere from $1995 to $3500 for a 2 bedroom. I found only one apartment rental for a two bedroom that starts at $650. I can't vouch for the condition of the apartment or the neighborhood because I am not an expert in that area. You may want to just do what I did, and do a google search on the internet, or see if there is any thing on a website like craigslist. Cazoodle.com listed a few more apartments in the reasonable range but still you would have to ask someone who is more familiar with the area. Hope this helps some. Good luck.

I looked around on craigslist, and there was 3 properties under $1000 for rent. One was a 3 bedroom house in heber, which is not too far.

Actually Heber is about 50 to 60 miles northeast of Payson. It would take about an hour or so to drive. I don't think that is "not too far" from Payson, but I guess it depends on each individual as to whether that would be too long a drive or not.

Haha, no I guess it's cause we were at the top of the rim already, which I still consider Payson.

We manage a lot of rentals in Payson, and have many which are well under $1000. Payson is NOT really high as a vacation spot, and doesn't really have a season, as such. Most of our rentals are full time.
