Come up to down town Cave Creek (Cave Creek Rd. west of Tom Darlington)

I'd bet if you talk to the guys that rent bikes/motorcycles/jeeps...they will help you out.

It's a fun way to spend a day, anyway.

You honestly think people are going to just let random people use their equipment? I highly doubt it. You can't just walk up to a dude with a quad and ask him to use it.

You can rent ATV's from many places in Phoenix, but it requires you to at least have at truck capable of pulling the quads.

You should check out Table Mesa, it's right off the I-17 north of Lake Pleasant, I ride out there almost every weekend, plus you have access to the north shore of Lake Pleasant which is really nice.

I think if the OP came to Cave Creek and asked the guys up here they would steer him right.

....or you could save all the running around chasing random people and asking a question they don't know the answer to by typing "atv rental, phoenix az" into google getting this:

atv rental phoenix - Google Maps

I stick by my post. If the guy comes up to the town of Cave Creek and asks around he can meet real guys who actually do atv, motorcycle, bike stuff, have a nice afternoon and get some real world info.

But, that's just me.

....or he will meet a bunch of pissed off rednecks.

Just because we live in the city does not mean we don't do "bike stuff".

A lot of us are out every weekend!

most people in Cave Creek can be pretty down-home and friendly, unlike some people in that big town a few miles south....

If some stranger walked up to me and wanted to borrow my jeep i would without a doubt tell them to go away.

Who said anything about "borrowing" somebody's Jeep or ATV? Must be a long day carrying that chip on your shoulder.
