Default Coronado’s Peacocks Have Some Neighbors Squawking

I thought I'd share this fascinating article about one of the historic neighborhoods I've been considering moving into here in Phoenix: Coronado (see link below):

This is the first time I'd ever heard of this 'controversy'...which just goes to show it's probably a good idea to talk to some neighbors who actually live in an area before buying/renting a home. Beyond the article itself, the comments section in which the landlord who has supposedly been 'breeding' the birds (in a scheme to steal another landlord's tenants!) defends himself is especially entertaining.

Part of me sympathizes with the people who can't sleep due to the loud mating calls, but I think I'd just invest in a pair of earplugs and be over it. But then again, I'm a huge wildlife enthusiast(with the exception of cockroaches!). I'd still consider living there, though.
