Default Tiny Spiders?

I have noticed some clearish-brown spiders, about the size of a ball-point, around my apartment. I found one in the kitchen, and a few in the living room in the carpet.

Would a simple monthly pest-control service take care of these?

I've seen small spiders around my place AFTER pest control treated my home. However, after a week or so following the service the house seems free of critters for the most part.

Get out the binoculars and smush the leftovers if you don't want to wait
