And I haven't even discussed other inflammatory conditions like Lupus, Scleroderma, and Polymyositis/Dermatomyositis which are greatly improved in warm environments. I haven't even discussed patients with Seasonal Affective Disorder and patients who suffer from other psychiatric disorders who do better with sun light and open spaces. People with Multiple Sclerosis also improve living in warm environments. And before Steve O decides to stereotype these people as inactive, they are not. Many ex-professional athletes suffer from these conditions yet are still active meaning they compete in endurance events, snow ski, golf etc. It's just that living here enables them to do more with regard to activity.

And to run with your ball further:
Yes; one can die in the heat/sun here from direct exposure (no shade), if nothing else----------in several hours.
One walks outside in Chicago in the winter wearing pants and a T shirt; accidently locks himself outside (even if he finds refuge under a carport)-----------within 30 minutes he is dead.

I'm in Sierra Vista, so I'm already at 4,800 ft, which iis why it's always 15-20 degrees cooler than where you are. My biggest downer is the lack of a Military or VA facility.

That is weird factoring Ft Huachuca.
As for SV weather: it is odd; the summers are dramatically cooler but its winters are barely cooler than here (maybe 5 degrees on average).

Sierra Vista is a nice town, too. I like Hereford, especially on the west side of the highway.

I like it here but it's REMOTE, not a lot to do. Foe a long while the Defense Industry kept the town up but now we are starting to suffer because chains are closing because of problems elsewhere. A bunch of car dealerships folded leaving little selection. Real Estate, at least in my neighborhood hasn't gone down in the 3 years I've been here.

Real estate has crashed all over Arizona------------try a 53% decline here in the Phx area since 2006.
As for dealerships; one import group (I am not naming names..........you probably know who they are) was essentially run off due to them screwing over the soldiers hence the Fort blacklisting 'em.

Where do you come up with this stuff??? Good Heavens, man! Quick question... how old are you? Dont lie to me, either.
To put an end to your ridiculous claim, I went to a Bears game many years back in December, and there were 3 guys in the front of us who didnt wear shirts the entire game, and we were at Soldier Field for about 3 hours that day. It was overcast and a bone-chilling 20 degrees or so. After the game was over, they got up and walked out with the rest of us. They didnt appear dead to me at all.

Old enough to know that the Midwest is of no interest to me.
As for the cold: I was referring to a typical colder than average day in Chicago................besides, I do not believe half of your tall tales either.
