This is the website...

I've seen dogs floating on the river, but I wouldn't bring mine. He'd be jumping off and going crazy with all the people, marhmallow fights, water fights, etc. Your dog would have to be able to stay on an inner tube for 2 hours, or I've seen "regulars" put plywood on the tubes to create a raft like thing for their dogs.

You might want to just go to the river with your dog - hang out on the side and let him/her swim a bit. I have done that with my dogs, and they love it!

To ride the bus, they have to be on a leash. That's the only requirement.

I always do the full trip, takes 4-5 hours usually.

The best tip I have learned over the years is to bring a sheet, wrap it over the top of the tube, and keep the cloth wet, it feels so much better, keeps your butt out of the water a bit, and doesn't allow the black tube to get burning hot in 5 minutes when it's 115 out.

I saw guys last year selling cups of beer for $2 right on the river, it was hilarious. I would much rather smoke a joint on the river than drink beer.

And KFC is the all time best thing for the river.

You can take your dog along too, might be tricky though.

I could have sold my chicken for $10 a piece to those with the munchies!

May be it is the smart way to get rid of the annoying dog. Honey, I'm sorry but your doggy sunk. Sure it will go to heaven, and look down on us now and happy.

They do??? I've heard that the river's flow slows and cubic feet per second is reduced from time to time but I don't think it gets "shut off."

It's sometimes reduced to the point that tubing isn't as obstacle-free as one might like.
