Apartments in Scottsdale? (rent, low crime, luxury)

Hi,

We may be moving to the Scottsdale area within the next few months. I've done some apartment research online (we'll rent for the first year). Below are the top choices so far. Can anyone tell me good or bad things about these places and where they are located? Are they near an iffy area? Are they near a high traffic area? Are there other apartments in the area we should consider? We're trying to get a 2bed/2bath around or under $1000 a month.

I think it depends on where you will be working.Will you be in town or closer to the north of Scottsdale? Courtney Village is actually not located in Scottsdale, but in Phx, not far from Scottsdale border, where as the other are all located in NE Scottsdale. I used to live at Courtney Village- it is a gated community, as a SF, I never felt unsafe there. Some people dont like the surronding area, but it was very convenient to the highway, about a mile and half outside the airport. The other apts in NE Scottsdale loof very nice- esp Sonoran Vista, but I dont know anything about them except that NE Scottsdale is generally very nice and low crime.
