....but man, does that stuff mess with me with the heat.

Alcohol, of course, in any form.

I'm not young anymore, and I find myself suckin' down water even when hangin' by the pool.

Be careful with that stuff, as I got a tad light headed after 3 Budweisers today.

I didn't throw up, pass out, or do anything crazy, but as folks were eatin', swimmin' and such....I had to go lay down.

I'm 45, in good shape, and feel great.....but today the heat really got to me.

Thank goodness I was home and comfortable in the AC.

Now I'm gonna be up all night from that 3 hour nap.

Again, be careful.

Liquor actually does the opposite for me. Somehow it numbs me which makes me more tolerant to the heat. No disagreements here on the heat, it was bad this afternoon.

I typically cut back on beer during the summer for this reason, even if you are drinking at night, the heat still makes you feel worse.

I'm sure I had a case of dehydration.

I didn't drink enough water yesterday while I was doin' yard work.

Folks started comin' over and I fired up the grill and popped open a Bud.

I drank three of 'em in about an hour.

Dumb.

Coming from Michigan, Stroh's is my favorite, followed by Molson Golden.

Can't get either out here.

My wife likes Coors.....I can't stand that stuff.

Do what i do, make your own! I am a homebrewer. The beer is fresher, you can make any kind you want to, can make it as strong as you want to. It is really simple to do. A great hobby. I started homebrewing while living in Phoenix, will be moving back there in less than 2 months, can't wait!
