Depending on where you live, age of the cities pipes, etc. it can be bad or great. Phoenix tap water isn't too bad and better tasting than most cities and states I've lived in. Not the best to shower in because it is hard, but the minerals in it give it a bottled water flavor since most bottled water is mineral "infused." Many homes in Arizona that I've seen have water softener and an under sink filter system just for measure...LOL! And the fridge has a ice maker/water spout that filters water as well. Seems like a standard feature now on fridges these days.

as repeatedly confirmed on news shows, tap water all over the country is entirely safe to drink...it is tested so many times....the actual taste of it may bother some, but it is safe to drink.....

bottled water is a colossal environmental threat....many drink a bottle and toss it straight into the garbage....what a waste!!!!......

I do have a PUR filter pitcher in the fridge and drink from it only because the water here does taste "dirty" somehow and it's always cold for me from the pitcher

all that trendy bottled water is usually nothing more than filtered tap water from the factory location....sometimes it is true "spring" water, but no more healthy than tap....

The tap water is fine...it's just so hot here that the bottle water companies take advantage of it, and suckers like me buy into it

If you want to get softner installed call a good plumber. I live far away in MI, but if you live in West MI call
