+1 for Broadway. We moved from Pa to Az two months ago. 4 bedroom was $3700. Paid some locals around $400 to carry the furniture out to the truck. You need to load it yourself but tip the driver a couple hundred and he will pack it into the truck tight. Since Broadway charges by the foot, we used 20 feet, having the driver stack and pack inside the truck is well worth it. A full service mover is easily over $10,00 and probably closer to 15k.

How funny.......Broadway Express advertises that the drivers will help for a fee that is arranged between you and the driver. Our driver told us on the phone that he wasn't interested. He said he was too old and it was too hot. I had forgotten that. It was still a GREAT move for the cost. I wouldn't hesitate to use Broadway Express again. Fortunately, our loaders were awesome and packed the truck very tight.

This is what we did...we just moved 12 months ago..NJ to AZ. We used ABF..had our 2 cars transported. Than we rented a mini van drove across country with my husband , myself and our 13 year old daughter. Oh yea a dog and a cat. Total cost...approx 10 thousand dollars. It was an uneventful trip and move. Good luck
