Agreed. I'm sure he was delighted with that $2K check. I would be too!

Some people need/want the full service. In this market I'm either going to be dealing with the listing agent (to get competitive info) or with an agent kicking back some of the easy money.

If you read the site, he will kick back the commission if the buyers does some leg work. He is not offering a kick back for full service which seems fair. It's a win-win.

I can see why some of you are a little skeptical of my post. I re-read it, and there were certainly too many details. But I was very excited to cash my check for the house. We also get the $8000 first-time home buyers credit, an awesome sales prices, and a very low interest rate, so it has been just a great experience overall.

The Realtor never asked me to make a post for him, and it never occurred to me it could be an unethical or inappropriate post. I guess since it hasn't been deleted yet, it must be okay to post it.

It's not a scam. He is just a rebate Realtor. You don't ever have to give him anything.

When we moved to Phoenix, it was overwhelming to narrow it down on whose services to use, so I thought I'd help others in their search. Hopefully, I have done that.

And for everyone's info...I am not a "he."

Well, I wondered about it as you have been posting for some time. Usually the self-promoters post only once or twice. Anyway CONGRATULATIONS on your new home!

Congrat's on your new home.

I'm trying to figure out why I assumed you were a male.

No, I'm definitely not a self-promoter. I can see the confusion though. I am now just hoping I did more help than harm!

That is okay you assumed male...I tend to do the same thing.
