Default Five Guys Burgers coming to Phoenix area

I read an article on AZcentral.com about Five Guys opening a restaurant in downtown Tempe. For those that aren't aware, they are very popular, and considered equivalent to In-N-Out or Fatburger by people on the East Coast. A quick look at their website indicates that they want franchisees to operate at least 5 restaurants, so I assume we'll be getting several of them across the valley. No exact locations have been announced as far as I can see. Good news.

Five Guys is better than In and Out. It's also a lot different. It's closer to Johnny Rockets in style meaning it's more greasy but it has more flavor. I think In and Out burger is good but a lot of hype IMO

I LOVE In-N-Out. Not a big fan of Five Guys because of the grease but I love that you can see how they make the fries at In-N-Out! Like that the fat mostly drips out of an In-N-Out burger like from a grill instead of a skillet or griddle.

Does it have more grease than Culvers? The last burger I had there was so bad that grease was running down my hands.

I went to the In-N-Out in Avondale when it first opened and have gone back once or twice. I don't get it. It is little more than an overpriced/trendy BurgerKing. Never tried Five Guys. It has to be better.

Over-priced? you get plenty of fries and a double double with a large drink for $5...at McD's you'd pay 6 or 7, same with Bugger King (LOL)! It is just made "healthier." As healthy as fast food can be made and no frozen ingredients or saturated fats.

Lenny's has great burgers but I like Maizie's better...mmm mmm!
