Default Cave Creek Schools

We may be relocating back to AZ. I grew up there from 1980 up until ten years ago. I always remember Cave Creek schools as not having a good reputation. I know Scottsdale and PV schools are good. I see that CC schools have good test scores and Cactus Shadows even made the Newsweek top school list. However, I don't hear people saying "move to Cave Creek for the schools" We are looking for larger lots (acre plus) and do not want a pretentious neighborhood. I have always like Cave Creek, although I know it's grown with the sprawl of Phoenix. Thoughts from anyone on schools in CC? Our kids are 11 and 13. Our other choice is to relocate to Denver, CO! Thanks!

They're okay, not great because they like every other school in AZ has been hit by the budget crunch, class sizes are relatively normal for Arizona with around 25-35 kids, but in general I hate the Cave Creek area, its just too far north 20 minutes just to get to the highway.

As with any school district, you have high or low performing schools within the district. [Mod Cut]
