Hello everyone. My husband just went to work for a company in downtown Phoenix (around 400 to 200 block of Central), and I'm following close behind as soon as 13-year-old son gets out of school. He'll be in 8th grade, and we would consider private school, but prefer excellent public school. Husband has to be close to work and to the airport (Sky). Also have 3 dogs. Want privacy, quiet, luxury, security up to $3000 per month. Also want maybe furnished. Am I just dreaming or is there anything out there in that price range. I've never been to Phoenix. Any thoughts?

Ehh. Its out there - save for maybe the privacy part. But nowhere near the airport. Check out Goodyear or Gilbert. You might find some places you like there - and you could have a worse commute.

No, you're not dreaming! I'm not sure about right in the airport area, but there are some nice neighborhoods near your husband and in less than thirty minute's drive from the airport. As far as your son, I teach an an amazing charter school, which uses curriculum from a private school and exceeds the public schools. Best of all, it's free! PM me and I'll send you the website.
As far as where to live, I've said before that the North Central Avenue area of Phoenix is nice. Basically, between 7th Ave and 7th St is the best part. You'll also want to look in the Biltmore Corridor and Arcadia area. I'm not sure about your definition of luxury, but you'll find a decent sized home in a greener area and around nice shopping. If you really want to send your son to a public school, Madison school district is the best, but I do recommend finding another way. |
