We look at a rental property today in MESA. The zip code is "85209‏" . The subdivision is called "marbella". I can't find any info on this subdivision. It did seem nice, but it was surrounded by trailer parks and a strange looking brick neighborhood. It was just west of the 202 and south of the 60. Can anyone help me figure out if it is worth $1100 a month to live in that area.

Thanks!

It is a nice gated community with community pool, spa and play grounds. It backs to the 202 but it's quiet due to the sound walls.

Find a realtor that works rentals and s/he can help you determine the going rate per square foot for rentals in that area. I can't help you because I don't work rentals.

Marbella is a nice area. Well kept and quite. Noise level from 202 is between very low to non-existing b/c of the noise barrier to the east. There is a similar subdivision to the south and I thought the housing development to the west across Hawes is a retirement community with a golf course. North of here is an professional office complex that never took off. It sat empty. However the owner(s) kept it patrolled and the landscape cared for. Hopefully it would revive when the economy turns around. Not sure which trailer parks you saw near here. Perhaps you meant the one west of Hawes?
