UK koko is on a distinguished road
Default Help needed for a UK school teacher.

Hi I am a 28 year old female and need some advice about relocating to phoenix. My brother and his family live in Verrado and I want to move closer to them. I was born in CA so am an American and won't have issues with moving or working visas. I have a BA (hons) degree in Jewelery Design and have completed my PGCE (post graduate certificate in education) in Design and Technology at Cambridge university and am planning on finishing my Masters of Education, again at Cambridge, next summer. (I hope this means something to someone)
What I would like to know is if Design and Technology is taught the same as in England. I teach RM (which is mainly woodwork) Graphics, Electronics and Textiles. If not then what do you teach in D&T?
Thanks Koko

I would recommend that you contact either the Board of Education for the Phoenix area or possibly ASU. Either of these should be able to provide youwith the information you need

Try contacting Glendale Community College. My son is starting there in August (from England) and the people there have been extremely helpful and answered all of our queries. The guy we've dealt with is called Kenneth Bus, but I think he deals mainly with overseas students. On the other hand, we are going to be spending upwards of $16k for the next two years, so I suppose they would be eager to answer our questions. Give it a go anyway.
