Hello,
I just moved to Phoenix a month ago from NC. I graduated from high school in April, and I'm very interested in learning about the wildlife here before I go back east to college. I'm especially interested in the birds and insects. I found this insect/spider on the floor of my garage under a crate of shoes so I captured him in curiosity. I tried to look it up online, but to no avail. Does someone know what this is? I know the pictures are really bad. . . sorry about that. http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f3/evanoie/Picture006.jpg (broken link) http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f3/evanoie/Picture007.jpg (broken link) Thanks! That looks like a tailless whipscorpion. No need to fear unless you are a cockroach or some other tasty bug.

Eva279. Thanks for this. I've seen these things around and wondered what they were. Thanks brittZ. I don't need to worry about those anymore, so that's one crossed off the "check your shoes for" list.
