Affordable Mattress in Phoenix?
We are in the market for a new bed, trying to find a Queen set under $300 new.
I was told R&S mattress might have what we need, anyone familiar with them?

Moderator cut: no consumer complaints allowed
Had a much better experience at Sleep America and Sam's Club for our mattresses.

Sleep America is good and you can haggle with them. Don't be afraid to do so. Suprisingly, you can also haggle at Sams Club but it might create some drama. You have to speak to a manager. You can probably get an inexpensive queen mattress for 300

Waterbed Recyclers at 27th Ave. and Camelback. I bought a waterbed from them in 1995; used it two years, and easily sold it for about what I paid for it.

You get what you pay for ~ stay away from some of those “specials” that sound too good to be true! Use a good name mattress store that will stand behind their products if you have issues later. Don’t get ripped off by those saying it’s a new mattress when it’s a rebuilt one.

Good advice, Aksarben . . .
A low quality (read: lumpy and/or sagging) mattress is no bargain.
