Default Where to live in Goodyear?

I may be moving and taking a job in Tolleson and would like to live in Goodyear. My wife and I just had our first child an=d we wanted a good area where, hopefully, we can stay for a long time. We would be relocating from Indianapolis.

We live in Canyon Trails and really enjoy it. It is developing nicely. Palm Valley is more developed with houses holding their value a bit better. Estrella is very nice but it's a little too far out there for me. Goodyear is a nice place to live.

palm valley isn't holding much better - there are still many 1/3 built subdivisions and foreclosures there

we have friends who bought there and paid $400k for a house that they could now get like $200k for

that area does price a little higher than the south of the I-10 area due to being a part of the litchfield elementary district

it's also a different water/sewer provider

however, there are good schools to be found south of the 10 as well

if you are working in tolleson the commute will be pretty easy - especially when the widening is done

if south of the 10 you could also easily run surface streets in

i really don't think you can go wrong - from palm valley, to canyon trails, to wildflower/centerra to estrella you're going to be OK

best bet would be to visit, get a feel for the area, get a feel for what you want close to your house and see what is there and what is planned, etc

it will be a lot based on individual feel

Estrella is great. You should at least consider it.
