Were you using more than one spot, parked at an angle, etc?

Nope.

And I don't have any bumper stickers either.

Any chance that it was someone that knows you? Have you made somebody mad lately or been involved in an altercation or argument? Any ex-spouse or dating issues?

Also, you said five foot high, is your truck lifted or customized?

I feel for you. I can't say I've ever had a car "keyed", but I've gotten more than my share of dings -- once while I was sitting in it!! (I became unglued.)

If it needs a paint job, I'd turn it into the insurance company.

Sorry it happened, and I can believe it. I've caught people red handed sitting on My motorcycle in parking lots. I've kept My cool and explained to them They can be burned by the hot exhaust pipes, and drop the 700 lb bike on Themselves.

but I've gotten more than my share of dings -- once while I was sitting in it!!

Recently, a teenager dinged my BRAND NEW car... first ding, while I was sitting in it. I looked at him, then tried to get out of the car and he started yelling, "I didn't do it... it was already there!" I asked him to close his door so I could get out and look but he wouldn't stop yelling. His mom came around the corner just about the time I was dialing 911 on my cell (because the kid wouldn't close his car door so that I could get out). I honked as she approached (I wouldn't put the window back down because he was YELLING) and she had him close his door.

It "hurts" when you see a first ding, but it would've happened eventually. The mom offered me her insurance, but it really wasn't a big deal. I kept myself calm, but it was difficult - the stupid teenager (yes, I know - redundant!) was still waving his arms around angrily and yelling that it wasn't his fault as his mom pulled out of the parking lot.

Now if someone could explain the large circular scratches on my hood, I'd appreciate it. Now THOSE really **** me off!

My sympathy goes out to you. It happens to me sometimes. I have a "newish" ('05) car, and I like to take care of it. Sometimes I find scratches on it. It really makes me mad that people would do that, but those people are everywhere. It's a sad fact of life that these people are jealous.

Probably a Fry's employee that didn't like your Safeway bumper sticker.
