We are relocating my son (19) to the Phoenix area to attend Motorcycle Mechanics Institute (MMI). Trying to find a good area to rent apartment not to far from the campus (W. Deer Valley Road) but want a little bit nicer area. What is Glendale like? Looking for a one-bedroom apartment. Any help would be appreciated.

The area around his school is actually a pretty nice area. There are numerous apartment complexes, new and older. But, there is also north glendale, more specifically Arrowhead Ranch area with nice apartments and the area is awesome. It would only be a few miles away. Sounds like that is what you are looking for.

We have a newer detached town home on 31st, but it may be too big for your son. Some of the apts around Deer Valley are not bad and a little further over off of the 101 and Cave Creek, there are some very nice places to look. Best of luck in your search.
