If anyone has a recommendation but has less than 10 posts, please send the OP a Direct Message. Please don't post to advertise your own services, either.

I would not use a handyman to install a soft water system, because there is sawing involved on the copper line, as well as welding. There can be real problems caused if someone does it wrong. I have used Ahwatukee Plumbing in the past for small plumbing things.

The very very best plumbing co is Plumbsmart. Ask to have Gary come to your house. Phone is 480=654-8865. You will really be very satisfied with the workmansheip.

Mod cut...orphaned quote.

To the OP, I would not hire a handyman to do these services. Plumbing and electrical work involve a lot of experience and skill. I made the same poor decision. I hired a handyman to put in ceiling fans and ceiling lights to save money. He was supposed to take 2 days to put in 18 lights and 4 ceiling fans. He took 5 days (12 hours a day) to put in 12 lights and 4 ceiling fans. We decided not to have him complete the job because he was taking too long and would have spent another week living in our house doing that. He took a long time because he was clearly inexperienced in this particular task. His work wasn't that great either but he was inexpensive. I learned my lesson. If I could do it over again I wouldn't have used him because I fear he may have made some mistakes because he wasn't an electrician. I'm going to hire an electrician to do the rest of the job.

Try www.Her-Man.net He's very good and reliable. If the job is outside his comfort zone - he'll tell you.

It depends, when you say "good handyman," are you referring to the guys with inflated sense of self-worth who charge $50-$60/hour? That's pretty easy. What's hard is to find a real handyman for $15-$20/hour.
