Does anyone know how much a taxi would cost from North Scottsdale to the airport. My gps tells me it would only take about 18 minutes. I contacted a few limo services and they range from $45 to $75. A little high for 18 minutes, dont you think?! Thanks

Have you called the blue van; Super Shuttle? I bet it would be cheaper...oh and it's Sky Harbor, LOL, just being nit-picky.

I think they have a lightrail - with a connecting shuttle. Another option.

I took a taxi from Sky Harbor to 101/Scottsdale Rd by Kierland when I moved here 2 years ago. Want to say I remember it being $60-70.

Not into N. Scottsdale...the closest connection would be at Central and Camelback in Uptown Phoenix...about 8 miles west of Scottsdale's Old Town/Fashion Square area...

18 minutes would be possible only in optimal non-rush-hour traffic conditions. Regardless, most taxis charge by both distance and time. Add in the airport surcharge, and I'm sure it would be $50 or more. While it's true that light rail goes to the Airport, it does not go to Scottsdale, so it's not really an option for the OP.

SuperShuttle is the way to go. Much cheaper, though you need to allow more time, as you will likely not be the only person being picked up.

You can check with companies like Transtyle and Execucar, they usually charge $40-$50 for a towncar or SUV to the airport.

18 min. is a joke. From N. Scottsdale, assuming you mean north of the 101, you're looking at 30 min. minimum if there's no traffic and you speed excessively. I've done this on my motorcycle a few times, taking the carpool lanes and doing at least 20mph over the limit and it was over 30 min.

No not north of 101 we are at McDonald and Hayden. Shouldnt be too much traffic mid morning, should there? Thanks for all the suggestions. We are still finding our way around here. Just moved here in October. Sorry about the spelling...Sky Harbor it is.
