Tempe Schools (Phoenix, Chandler: relocation, job, crime)

My wife is thinking about accepting a job as a teacher at Nevitt School in Phoenix it is on 4525 E. St Anne St it is a part of the Tempe School District but it has a Phoenix address.We are relocation there next month we will live in Chandler so we know it is not a far drive , however we are wondering about the area and the school it self if it is a safe area, do they have high turnover of teachers, crime etc: Please be as honest as you can I want us both to feel good about this job.

Being a teacher these days is not a safe job! I thought that area was highly industrial, not sure where the students will come from but it doesn't sound like a good area to me.

Your wife may want to consider adult education instead.

Chandler is good, but the area the school is in is BAD.

The students will be a bunch of thugs.

If your wife has a high tolerance for abuse (and possibly sexual assault), she might do alright. I wouldn't recommend it.
